Armageddon Outta Here!

As Ron pointed out yesterday, things have gone past the point of heating up over in the holy land and are fast approaching a full boil. In case you've had your head under your pillow today, (which might not be a bad idea) the normal tense situation and flareups of violence between Isreal and her neighbors has now essentially blown up into all out war on multiple fronts.

BEIRUT, Lebanon (CNN) -- Israeli warplanes bombed Beirut's international airport and the navy blockaded Lebanon's ports in a sharp escalation of its military campaign Thursday.

Hezbollah guerrillas fired scores of rockets from Lebanon into northern Israel in the most intense bombardment in years.

The missiles killed one woman and at least 10 others were hurt in the attack on Safed, about 13 miles (20 kilometers) from the Lebanese border, which local officials said not been hit by Hezbollah rockets since 1972.

If American warplanes and ships show up there this week and start blowing the living hell out of Lebanon and Syria, I'm pretty much writing off the future for all intents and purposes and joining a religious cult.

Perhaps the end actually is near. Cue the horsemen.
