MUMBAI, India (AP) -- The police officer leading the investigation into train bombings that killed more than 200 people in the Indian city of Mumbai in July accused Pakistan's spy agency on Saturday of masterminding the attack.Ed Morrissey asks "Has Pakistan Changed Sides?". The answer is no. Pakistan's ISI has always been made up of Taliban supporters and Islamic extremists. Pervez Musharraf has been walking a fine line between a rock and a hard place since 911, attempting to please the Bush administration without offending the extremists that are entrenched in the ISI and the military. At some point he had to make a decision and with his peace treaty with the tribal leaders of Waziristan he made it.
I temporarily reopened Middle Earth Journal when Newshoggers shut it's doors but I was invited to Participate at The Moderate Voice so Middle Earth Journal is once again in hiatus.
