They just don't get it!
Several articles today on the targeting of Joe Lieberman again today and all of the articles are off target themselves. They all have one thing in common, they make it sound like this is a personal vendetta against the man, Joe Lieberman. This is where they miss the mark. For most of us it's not. It is a vendetta against the failed ideology that got us bogged down in the quagmire in Iraq, is losing the all important war in Afghanistan and making the world a much more dangerous place by antagonizing the rest of the world community. Of course I'm talking about the neocons and while Joe Lieberman may have a "D" after his name he is every bit as much of a neocon as anyone else. Yes in the past Lieberman has had a decent progressive record but none of that matters if the insanity of the neocons continues. Those opposing Lieberman are said to be endangering the potential Democratic takeover of the House and or the Senate. If it's Democrats like Joe Lieberman in charge my reaction is so what, what difference will it make. Not much I think. So why Lieberman? Well he's up for reelection and this:
