No, Tony. The days of the Popes raising armies and Kings launching crusades are long since over. You're the Prime Minister. And the people will be your judge, just as we in America will be the final judges of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and the rest.Tony Blair has proclaimed that God will judge whether he was right to send British troops to Iraq, echoing statements from his ally George Bush.
Contradicting warnings from advisers not to mix politics and religion, the Prime Minister said that his interest in politics sprang from his Christianity and its "values and philosophy" had guided him in public life.
I temporarily reopened Middle Earth Journal when Newshoggers shut it's doors but I was invited to Participate at The Moderate Voice so Middle Earth Journal is once again in hiatus.

No, Tony... we will
It seems that Tony Blair is once again channeling his supervisor friend George W. Bush. This week he decided to throw caution to the wind and told the people of England that "God will be his judge" on whether or not he was right to send Britsh troops into Iraq in support of Bush's invasion.
