The good news is the cold windy dry weather here in the Portland area is coming to an end. The bad news is it won't go out like a lamb. The first front made it through the persistent high pressure this afternoon leaving about an inch of snow. The second front is due tonight and rather than snow it will be freezing rain that may continue for 24 hours or more. The wind is to continue and freezing rain and wind are not a good combination. So if I'm not posting tomorrow it will be a result of a power outage.

Weather Event
