Something New-Something Local

Although I reside in Oregon I have not really posted on local issues unless they had national interest. That's going to change. I'm going to be doing some posts on Oregon Politics. To let you know that's what a post is about it will start with the Oregon Politics Icon you see here.

The reason for this is that here in what is thought to be the Blue State of Oregon we have our very own Republican wingnut in a position of power, Karen Minnis, speaker of the Oregon House. In spite of outspending her Democratic rival in 2004 by 7 to 1 she was only able to win by 7%. We are going to start early to try to unseat her in 2006. I will be joining Oregon Blogs Preemtive Karma and Also Also to start and I'm sure that more will join in.
