You really got a hold on me

It appears that Barbara Boxer is still the only Democratic Senator with a sufficiently large pair of brass juevos to take a stand these days. Now that the responsible (?) Senate committee has passed John Bolton's nomination, sans reccomendation, to the Senate floor, Ms. Boxer has apparently put a hold on it. The money quote.

"If this comes to the floor, we're going to have a fight," Senator Barbara Boxer said during the committee meeting.

The Dems may lose on this one in the end, but Boxer is at least going to make sure that they go down swinging. I may have been too premature in writing her off as a viable presidential candidate. She may, in fact, be the only Democrat worth enough of a spit to take the office.
