Middle Earth Journal has been taking up bandwidth in the blogosphere for almost a year now. When I started out my intention was to have a place to post a few pictures and collect my thoughts. I've never really tried to "market" MEJ but while I'm not one of the "big hitters" it has grown more than I would have anticipated.
It's been a year
So what's new after a year? Not much! One of my first posts was on Fascism in America. Today I have a post on the same subject over at Running Scared. I had a post on Saudi Arabia's ties to terrorism and a follow up post that has been one of my biggest search engine high hitters. In July I did a post on the Hubbert Curve, Peak Oil and the rapidly approaching energy crunch, Oil, Half Way To Empty. Yesterday I did a post on the same subject and now there are blogs devoted to it like The Oil Drum and Peak Energy. Like blogs everywhere there were plenty of posts on the election and the Iraq debacle.
I want to thank Jazz Shaw at Running Scared for giving me an additional outlet for my ranting and for his daily posts here at MEJ. I want to thank everyone who has dropped by the last year and I will continue to rant even if you quit dropping by. As for the pictures, I had to start a new blog, Just Pictures, for those.
Thanks again
Ron
