When those "activist" judges won't act

The Federal Judge in Florida has refused to issue an order to have Terri Schiavlo's feeding tube reinserted. I think the Schiavlo media event staged over the weekend by the Republican "lawmakers" and the President will damage them. Details over at Running Scared. In the comments section all are in disagreement with me, only time will tell who is right. The fact that a majority of Americans, including 50% of the Evangelical Christians, thought it was wrong for congress to get involved still makes me think that this will be a minus for the Republicans. And don't forget that nearly 2/3 of the Americans polled thought the feeding tube should be removed. The action by congress was a cruel political power play that only served to give Schiavlo's parents a few brief hours of unjustified hope. The majority of Americans see it that way.
