On the Radio Today

Today on Mid Stream Radio (1 pm Eastern, 10 am Pacific) Ron and I will be joined by Pam Leavey of The Democratic Daily. Since there is so little political news to report on, we'll probably discuss bunt cake recipes and other baking tips. Oh yes... and why it took so long for Mark Penn to get fired. (As Pam said in the linked article... "Thank heavens")

Be sure to join us. You can get in on the conversation by calling (646) 595-3963, or by hopping in to the always lively web chat! (Remember, to participate in web chats you will need to register for a free user account at the BTR homepage and grab a nickname.)

See you on the radio!

Today at 1:00 pm Eastern, we'll be back on the air talking about Thanksgiving, as well as a couple of current events in the news. We'll be joined by Lady Logician, from Lady's Logic for this 1/2 show before the Thanksgiving break. Be sure to tune in.

Update
Jazz just sent me the following email:

We broke 300 listeners on our first show. We'll only know later how many archive downloads it does, but I'm blown away. It's a very good start!

Friday Orchid Blogging

Not terribly inspired today so here's a picture. Jazz had the first episode of Mid Stream Radio on blogtalkradio today. I missed most of it myself but hope to chime in on Monday. I think what we will try to do is talk about subjects we have discussed here at MEJ. The broadcast is at 1:00PM Eastern, 10:00AM Pacific so check it out if you have a chance. Most of the talk today was about the Democratic debate - I didn't watch it. Hopefully something will inspire me tomorrow, if not I can probably find another picture.
