This is Oregon's Mt. Washington. At 7,795 feet it's not the most impressive of the Cascade volcanoes and since it hasn't erupted for several thousand years it doesn't get the attention of Mt. St. Helens. The picture was taken at McKenzie pass, altitude 5,300 feet. The lava flow in the foreground is about 2,500 years old. The Indian name for the mountain was Squaw Tit since from a distance it resembles a woman's breast.
