If the Republicans are to survive the 2008 elections they have to start thinking about how long they can support a President with a 26% approval rate. The Republicans must really be looking at what they are going to do with Iraq in September. On Iraq 73% disapprove of how Bush is fighting the war. But It's not just Iraq - the American people don't seem to approve of anything Bush does.
- Economy (34 percent approve, 60 percent disapprove)
- Health care (28 percent approve, 61 percent disapprove)
- Immigration (23 percent approve, 63 percent disapprove)
- Terrorism and homeland security (43 percent approve, 50 percent disapprove)
Update
Sully thinks Bush got what he wished for - well not exactly.
I'd say. Bush asked to have his presidency judged on how he waged the war in Iraq. He has got his wish.Sphere: Related Content
