It's all about the tribe

So eleven "moderate" House Republicans had a "blunt" meeting with commander codpiece yesterday about Iraq. Did they tell him the Iraq war is harmful to the military? - No! Did they tell him the Iraq war is harming the US economy? - No! Did they tell him the Iraq war is hard on families who's sons and daughters are put in harms way? - No! they told him the War Is Harming The GOP.

House Republican moderates, in a remarkably blunt White House meeting, warned President Bush this week that his pursuit of the war in Iraq is risking the future of the Republican Party and that he cannot count on GOP support for many more months.

That's right you red state Republicans, it's not about what is good for you and your children it's all about what is good for the tribe of Republican politicians. It's not that your sons and daughters are in danger but that the Republican politicians are in danger. Just remember that when you vote in November, 2008.
