It turns out that Karl Rove has gone a long way toward securing a permanent majority in American politics ... for liberals and Democrats. The collapse of a coherent, freedom-loving, reality-based conservatism is surely part of the reason.Alberto Gonzales will eventually be thrown under the bus because of his incompetence in Prosecutor Purge debacle. It's becoming clear that Rove was up to his eyeballs in all of this and that his brand of politics has all but destroyed the Republican Party. Now why would they want to keep him around? Why not throw him under the bus with Gonzales? He has outlived his usefulness and in fact is now a political liability. The problem is they know what a vicious asshole he is and he does know where all the bodies are buried.
I temporarily reopened Middle Earth Journal when Newshoggers shut it's doors but I was invited to Participate at The Moderate Voice so Middle Earth Journal is once again in hiatus.
