From Bad to Worse

Josh Marshall discusses the new Cheney plan to support the Shi'a over the Sunni in Iraq. The most important point he makes is that is dangerous to force the Bush administration to change their policies because the new ones they come up with are always worse than the original.

This is a really good example of how you can't underestimate the Bush White House's ability to up the ante and embrace a new policy even more ridiculous than those they've tried before.
