Strong Democratic sentiment pushes President George W. Bush to the top of the list when American voters pick the worst U.S. President in the last 61 years. Bush is named by 34 percent of voters, followed by Richard Nixon at 17 percent and Bill Clinton at 16 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today. Leading the list for best President since 1945 is Ronald Reagan with 28 percent, and Clinton with 25 percent.Yes it's true Bush got twice as many votes as Richard Nixon. Now I'll admit that there may not be that many of us left alive who remember how bad Richard Nixon was but I am and Bush would still get my vote. The Bush administration has certainly eclipsed the Nixon administration when it comes to deception and lies. The Nixon administration did have a few positive foreign policy initiatives like China but the Bush administration has none - zip - nada.
I temporarily reopened Middle Earth Journal when Newshoggers shut it's doors but I was invited to Participate at The Moderate Voice so Middle Earth Journal is once again in hiatus.
