Nothing seems to be going George W. Bush or the Republicans way 6 months before the election. So what to do? Change the subject and fire up the base. Newsweek asks:
GOP leaders are putting gay marriage back on the agenda. Will voters respond?The answer would appear to be no. Newsweek points out that there is a 10% increase in support for gay marriage since 2004 and that the anti gay marriage folks are not buying Frist and Bush's sudden interest.
