Perhaps he's still in shell shock from his own Colbert experience or perhaps he really does think that his own neocon dreams of world domination are just that, dreams. Whatever the reason in his commentary this morning, "Iran Is Not Iraq" he seems to have given up at least on Condi Rice.
Much of the U.S. government no longer believes in, and is no longer acting to enforce, the Bush Doctrine. "The United States of America understands and believes that Iran is not Iraq." That's a diplomatic way of saying that the United States of America is in retreat.For once I hope that Bill Kristol is right.
