I put Middle Earth Journal in hiatus in May of 2008 and moved to Newshoggers.
I temporarily reopened Middle Earth Journal when Newshoggers shut it's doors but I was invited to Participate at The Moderate Voice so Middle Earth Journal is once again in hiatus.

I'm Tired

Yes, I'm tired. But I have this to look at a mile from my home that gives me hope. Last year potatoes were grown in this field. This year, clover. Why does this give me hope? The clover will be harvested to make natural food for cattle, a good thing. And there is another good thing; clover is a nitrogen fixer. That means that while it grows it is fertilizing the land. Smart eco farmers we have here in the Pacific Northwest.(Click on picture for a larger view)
