I put Middle Earth Journal in hiatus in May of 2008 and moved to Newshoggers.
I temporarily reopened Middle Earth Journal when Newshoggers shut it's doors but I was invited to Participate at The Moderate Voice so Middle Earth Journal is once again in hiatus.

Friday Tidbit

Now that the dust has settled and everyone has had time to digest the results, how do people really feel about the results of the 2004 presidential election? Well, as the Sideshow reports, somebody got Zogby to do some research and it seems that a majority of people who watch the news on television feel that the election was stolen.
Network Stolen Legitimate
ABC 56% 32%
CBS 64% 31%
CNN 70% 24%
MSNBC 65% 24%
NBC 49% 43%
Other 56% 28%
That is, with one notable exception, which I left out of the chart above. For some reason which I'm sure we
could never fathom, people who watch Faux "News" didn't share that sentiment.
In fact, they were completely out of touch with everyone else. Let's see how the chart looks with Faux included.
Network Stolen Legitimate
ABC 56% 32%
CBS 64% 31%
CNN 70% 24%
FOX .5% 99%
MSNBC 65% 24%
NBC 49% 43%
Other 56% 28%
When a majority of other Americans felt one way, less than one percent of Faux viewers held that view. Knock me over with a feather.

There's more interesting poll results at the Sideshow, including how people feel about whether or not Bush has the right to attack Iran without the prior permission of Congress. Please do check it out.
