It's all about Cheney part XXIV

This is an important story. A story about how a party elder, brought in to provide maturity and seasoning to the feckless George W. Bush, is not just the power behind the throne, but is the main force backing the destruction of our Constitution by removing any semblance of a democratic, open and accountable government.

The above is the conclusion of Mary's post over at The Left Coaster. She discusses Sidney Blumenthal's The long march of Dick Cheney. I don't really have anything to add so go read Mary's post and sit through the ad so you can read Blumenthal's article. It really is all about Cheney.

Avedon Carol sums it up:

It's just an outline of the horror that is Darth Cheney, but most of us had no idea what a dangerous maniac he really is and has always been, and everyone thought he would be a sensible, mature, moderating force, rather than the agent of our nation's destruction.
