David Wu crossed the line in the sand

While I don't expect my elected representatives to always vote the way I think they should there are certain issues/votes that stray so far from the values of progressives that it makes it impossible for me to support them. One such issue was the Bankruptcy Bill and one such Democrat is my congressional representative David Wu, Democrat. David Wu voted for the Bankruptcy Bill and voted against the best interests of his constituency. As I noted here , 16 of Wu's 27 top contributors were Labor Unions. His vote for the Bankruptcy Bill was a vote against the members of those unions and every other non-millionaire citizen in the State of Oregon. I will support a Democratic candidate who will run against David Wu in the primary and I would hope that the Labor Unions who have supported Wu in the past would do the same.
