Some Thoughts On Rove

Many progressives/Democrats are saying Rove should be fired, and he should be. But I say let him stay. It doesn't matter if he is White House chief of staff or the Administrator of brush clearing at the Crawford ranch he's going to be doing the same dirty work. The new Chief of staff will just be a puppet with Rove pulling the strings. If he stays visible in the White House he is a political liability and it's easier to keep an eye on him. If he gets fired Bush gets some political points and he will just go to some secret bunker next to Cheney's and become invisible.
