Going Down

The new Harris Poll is out and shows that George W. Bush's approval rating continues to fall, 44% positive, 56% negative; a new low for his presidency. The real news though was found in the ratings for members of congress.

• Republicans: 36% positive, 61% negative


• Democrats: 34% positive, 64% negative

It would appear that Democratic lawmakers are bearing the fruit of their constant sellouts to the Republicans.

The Dark Lord, Dick Cheney must be the most unpopular Vice President ever; 37% positive, 60% negative.

The Democrats are not able to take advatage of the unpopularity fo the Republicans because they have been spineless and have offered no alternatives.
