DeLay VS Rove, opening salvo?

Joe Gandelman wonders if the almost daily revelations about Tom Delay's ethical lapses is part of a Rovian plan to get rid of him.
I think the answer is yes. As I said earlier Rove sees DeLay as poison to Dubya's second term. If the Democrats regain control of the House in 2006 Dubya's legacy will be one of non-stop investigations the final two years. Not the legacy Rove or Dubya had in mind.
