Cheerleading for Tom DeLay

We Progressives/Democrats should be praying that the Bugman, Tom DeLay, is able to hang on for as long as possible. The longer the DeLay stench hangs over the Republican controlled House of Representatives the more members of the DeLay Hive are going to go down with him. The Rovians are truly between a rock and a hard place. They know that DeLay is now toxic but they also know he won't go down alone. A majority of the House Republicans have ties to Delay. It's too late for effective damage control but the longer it takes Rove to neutralize DeLay the greater the damage will be. Rove may be slimy low life but he's not stupid; a Democrat controlled House in Bush's last two years would not leave him with the legacy he had in mind.

So hang in there Tom, don't let the Rovians wear you down.
