Why do the Democrats Lose? Because they don't act like Democrats

The Bankruptcy Bill was a lesson on why the Democratic party continues to lose ground. It won't look out for it's constituency. Eighteen Democrats voted for a Bankruptcy Law that was so flawed that even some on the right side of the blogosphere opposed it. Here is Steve Soto's list of the "Democrats" who voted for the bill with his comments:

Folks, we've got far bigger problems than fighting Karl Rove when we have lame-assed corporate Democrats snuffing out consumers.

Unlike my totally lame congressman in the house, David Wu, I was glad to see my Democratic Senator, Ron Wyden, was not on the list of shame. If the Democratic party cannot be purged of the "Republican Lite" it will continue to be a party with no constituency and continue to lose.
