The myth of corporations

Dean Esmay has an interesting post on the myth of "Corporations" and how they are not a free market phenomenon.

Corporations are not a free market phenomenon. They are a creation of THE STATE. Indeed, their very existence depends upon THE STATE, i.e. THE GOVERNMENT.

I have always felt that big is bad. Big government is bad and big corporations are bad. Both are a device to centralize power. What we have at present is the melding of big government with big corporations. The complete centeralization of power. There is a word for that, it's called Fascism.
