Breaking bottles in the hall,
Can you help me?
Hey you, don’t tell me there’s no hope at all
Together we stand, divided we fall.
Is there anybody out there?

Bloggers may be a bit misguided as to the question of whether or not there's anybody "out there." At least in terms of people out there reading blogs. According to this new report by CNN, while nearly 7% of all computer users in America write blogs, not all that many are reading them regularly.
More than three-quarters of Americans -- 76 percent -- said they use the Internet, but only 26 percent said they were "very familiar" or "somewhat familiar" with blogs. Just 7 percent of adults said they read blogs at least a few times per week, according to the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll. Forty-eight percent said they never do.On the upside, the article does go on to note that, of the people who do read blogs, MSM editors and writers are included. Even if the entire country isn't engaged with the blogosphere, bloggers are still influencing what eventually gets covered in the conventional media outlets.
This is, in my opinino, nothing to be worried about, though. Only twenty years ago, almost nobody owned a personal computer. Blogging is still in its infancy, and will take time to grow just like every other technical advance in society.
