There's been a lot of concern over Alberto Gonzales, in terms of his record in law enforcement and legal opinions. Of course, Democrats need to realize that the administration would never replace him with some Northeastern liberal. Good news... I think we may have found a red state replacement that everyone will be able to get behind.
Robin Green is a prosecutor with the District Attorney's office in Benton County, Arkansas. During a recent, high profile murder investigation, she displayed the type of instincts and "nose for crime" that will, I believe, make her a perfect fit for the Bush administration. After one suspect was noted sending mail from his jail cell to one Murphy Smith, Ms. Green issued a subpoena to have Mr. Smith brought into court for questioning. On the appointed day and time, obviously sensitive to the power and influence of Ms. Green, Murphy Smith showed up for his hearing. Here's a picture of Mr. Murphy Smith. (Photo Credit: BBC)
