Social Security and the line in the sand

It is being said that Democrats must choose their battles well. Well the first and most important battle is Social Security "Reform". The Bush plan is not a plan to reform Social Security but a plan to destroy it, something many Republicans have wanted to do since it's inception. This is about more than Social Security and the financial well being of millions of seniors it is about the financial well being of the United States itself. We must start contacting our Senators and Representatives, both Republican and Democrat. Let them know that we know the Bush plan is not a plan to fix Social Security and that it's not Social Security that's broken; it's Bush economic policy that needs fixing. This is the "line in the sand".
