Revisionist History Gifts

Dave Johnson of Seeing The Forest has a dKos diary entry today,An Offer From the Right on some revisionist history books being offered by The Heritage Foundation. I suspect that all history tends to be "revisionist" as no one can totally eliminate their own perceptions and beliefs when writing about the past but a look at how people re-write history can be useful as a way to see exactly what the belief system of the author is and the direction they would like to take us.
