I want to wish everyone a happy New Year and thank everyone who drops in to see what I have to say. When I started Middle Earth Journal in May it was really intended to be just that, a Journal. A place where I could put down my thoughts and not have to worry about finding them on my hard drive. The traffic has continued to increase thanks in part to MEJ being added to many blogrolls and of course Running Scared’s Jazz dropping by almost daily to give you another slant on things. I gladly reciprocate by doing a post or two a day over at Running Scared. Jazz has made a little announcement over at his place, you might want to go check it out. I'm not going to spoil his fun but you may notice I have had to change his Bio over on the right.
I will continue to bring you my slant throughout the coming year and I’m sure that Jazz will do the same. And I can’t forget my dear friend Bill in DC. Bill and I were Army buddies in 69, 70 and 71. We had not seen or heard from each other in over 30 years and Bill found me through Middle Earth Journal. He contributes by sending me links to articles he finds. I have been trying to give him the keys to MEJ so he can post directly and hopefully that may happen in 2005.
I’m not going to make any predictions, my crystal ball seems to have a manufacturing defect as I have been wrong about nearly everything in 2004. That’s what you get when you buy one of those cheap foreign imports.
Once again, thanks for dropping by once in awhile and have a Happy New year.
