As people head off to the polls across the country today in Oregon at least 65% of the ballots are in. According to The Oregonian a "turnout" of 84 percent was expected, but the record of 86.5 percent, set in 1960, seems clearly within reach. Oregon is 100% vote by mail. The ballots must be in by 8:00 PM today. The only problem has been drop boxes located throughout the state have been filling up faster than they could be emptied.
