An Opportunity That Will Be Missed

Joe Territo gets it right.

The Bin Laden Tape is a great opportunity for both Bush and Kerry to show that they are patriots first, politicians second. Instead of independently reacting to the tape, or using it for their own political gain - which, no doubt, is what will happen - both presidential candidates should temporarily suspend their tunnel vision on winning the election to make a defiant joint appearance, asking voters to ignore the tape, letting Osama know that America will not allow him or any other such scum to interfere in our sacred electoral process.

Up to this point, 7:00PM PDT, reactions from both sides have been cautious but I'm afraid that will change.
