Up and running

After about 14 hours it appears that Blogger is up and running again. I had a couple of posts in the queue which can be found below.

The big news today is that the print media at least has been forced to admit and report that George W. Bush did indeed use his fathers influence to get a Texas Air National Guard Position and that he did indeed not fulfill the requirements of that position and used his fathers influence to avoid punishment. Steve Soto at The Left Coaster has a post on this and I posted on the Nicholas Kristof op ed below

Although reporting the obvious is a start what they are not reporting is the fact that Bush has lied about his service and tried to coverup the truth for years. Kristof says:

"Does this disqualify Mr. Bush from being commander in chief? No."

He is wrong. Getting into the Guard using connections does not but not fulfilling his duty and then lying about it does.
