Alfred French, a Clackamas County prosecutor who also served in Vietnam, called Kerry a liar in a television ad. In an interview with The Oregonian, he acknowledged he didn't witness any of the combat incidents involving Kerry but was relying on reports from three friends who were there. As the Swift Boat Liars story unravels in the national press it becomes obvious the Alfred French repeated lies, sorry Alfred, that makes you a liar. A liar has no place in the judicial system.
French's boss, Clackamas County District Attorney John Foote, said his office received dozens of calls criticizing French, but he defended his deputy's right to express his political opinions.I'm sorry Mr. Foote, but there is a difference between expressing political opinions and repeating lies. You can email Mr. Foote at districtattorney@co.clackamas.or.us and let him know that liars shouldn't be prosecuting other people.
