I temporarily reopened Middle Earth Journal when Newshoggers shut it's doors but I was invited to Participate at The Moderate Voice so Middle Earth Journal is once again in hiatus.

ExxonMobil Profits and Equatorial Guinea
As a little break from Democratic Convention news Edward over at Obsidian Wings has a post on the hypocrisy of U.S. policy. Apparently it's OK to support a blood thirsty tyrant if it's good for the bottom line of a U.S. oil company. Just ask President Obiang, the people of Equatorial Guinea and ExxonMobil.
